Fabrication NJSuperior Tool & Manufacturing Co. offers fabrication and welding on small to mid sized parts, assemblies and structures. Depending on the material thickness, we can either water jet ( thicker than 1 inch ) or laser cut the parts through our trusted partners to near net shape. We can then, in turn, final machine features such as drill, ream, tap, pocket mill, etc. to a more precise dimension. Welding using either MIG , TIG , Heliarc or SMAW (stick) can be used to construct an assembly made from several members. Final machining can then be achieved in the shop. Finishing of parts is accomplished by long term partners. Depending on material and finishing requirements, we have the ability to heat treat and finish such as electroless nickel, passivation, chemical film, hard coat, anodize, power coat and paint. Laser marking. A recent addition to our capabilities, Superior Tool & Manufacturing Co. has identified laser marking as a service whereby unique identification, serializing, bar codes, can be permanently applied to part surfaces. Base materials of stainless steel, steel , aluminum, plastics are candidates for laser marking.
